By default, the server will save in a subfolder “…/savegame”</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Log Files Directory</strong><br><em>\"logDirectory\": \"./logs\",</em></p>\n<p>The directory for storing log-files can be set in the “logDirectory” setting. If nothing is changed, the server will save the latest log into the directory “…/logs” and archive previous log-files automatically in the folder “…/logs/backup”</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>IP Setting</strong><br><em>\"ip\": \"0.0.0.0\",</em></p>\n<p>If needed for internal network configurations, the IP of the server can be set in the “ip” setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Port Setting</strong><br><em>\"queryPort\": 15637,</em></p>\n<p>This port can be changed to match your firewall settings.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Player Slots</strong><br><em>\"slotCount\": 16</em></p>\n<p>This setting allows the definition of the number of available player slots.</p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>The slot count must be a number between 1 and 16.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Note: each slot (player) will increase the impact on the performance of the server. It is the direct continuation of how Enshrouded was configured up until update 0.7.3.0 and is the recommended setting for first-time players.</li>\n<li>“<strong>Relaxed</strong>” - The “Relaxed” preset reduces the amount of enemies and provides players with more resources and loot. This mode targets players who are most interested in base-building and light-hearted adventuring.</li>\n<li>“<strong>Hard</strong>” - The “Hard” preset increases the amount of enemies and makes them more aggressive to give players a tougher combat experience.</li>\n<li>“<strong>Survival</strong>” - The “Survival” preset is for those who seek some punishment with additional survival mechanics on top of more aggressive enemies.</li>\n<li>“<strong>Custom</strong>” - When “Custom” is selected, a long list of individual settings can be tweaked.
