Ranged weapons can be used via action bar. When selecting the ranged weapon and pressing the left mouse button a quick shot will be performed towards the camera’s direction. Holding down the right mouse button keeps the character in the aiming animation, giving the player time to aim. Pressing the left mouse button triggers the shot. Ammunition can be changed by either pressing the [E] key or scrolling the mouse wheel while aiming.
Ranged weapons can also be equipped. This method allows the player to use the weapon via [Q] key without having to select it via action bar. Equipped items are recognizable by a little blue “shirt” icon in the backpack/action bar slot.
The magic combat with staffs and spells works similar to the bow and arrow combat.
The staff can either be used via action bar or ranged combat button when equipped. Spells are considered the staff’s ammunition and will be consumed upon usage. As the player progresses, spells that do not get consumed can be discovered. Using spells will use up the player’s mana.
